I recently read this quote in a book and it has caused me to pause and reflect on those that I think are closest to me. Are they truly friends or are they acquaintances who think they know me by what I do or what others say about me? This is a tough question to ask one’s self. However, as we traverse life and explore I on the journey to Wellness, you will have to embrace this kind of thinking. Start examining those around you and decide whether or not they influence you through positive or negative actions, words, or deeds. Ultimately, the only thing that a person can control is not what someone else is doing but how we choose to respond. The way someone responds is a reflection of how healthy they are.
