Chiropractic Neurology

Chiropractic neurology applies the non-drug therapies of chiropractic to enhance neurological function and provide relief for many conditions. Worldwide, there are about 1000 board certified chiropractic neurologists. Dr. Dunn is one of only three board-certified chiropractice neurologists in the Jacksonville area.

The basis for chiropractic neurology is the direct relationship between the function of the brain and the movement of the entire skeletal and muscle system. All joints must move freely in order to provide optimal function throughout the central nervous system. If free movement is suppressed through prolonged immobilization or through dysfunction of the skeletal and muscle system, the result is loss of muscle tone, decreased brain activity, and increased pain. Chiropractic neurology promotes increased brain function – without the use of drugs or surgery.

Dr. Dunn offers relief from many conditions, including:

To address spinal disc problems, Dr. Dunn employs the Cox® Technique. This treatment provides safe and effective pain relief, including pain from a vertebral disc that is bulging, ruptured, or herniated. As a result of the Cox® Technique, a patient experiences pain relief, enhanced posture and freedom of movement, and a feeling of well-being.
