Biological Terrain Assessment

What is the Biological Terrain?

The biological terrain enables all cells of the body to function in order to maintain life. The biological terrain includes electrolytes, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, hormones and fluids responsible for supplying the body with energy as it moves, filters and disposes of minerals from cells.

What is a Biological Terrain Assessment?

Biological Terrain Assessment (BTA) is a study of the cells in the body and the fluid environment that nourishes cells.

What will the BTA test?

BTA tests check thyroid, adrenal, digestive, kidney, liver, immune, circulatory and pancreatic functions, fungi and/or bacteria, mineral levels and lymphatic system.

Why Do I Need a BTA?

Prolonged exposure to factors like: excessive stress, poor diet, too little sleep, certain drugs, alcohol and smoking, and toxins and chemicals in the air, food and water creates biological stress leading to viruses and poor health.

Cells living in a healthy biological terrain with a balanced pH, nutrients and hydration levels will thrive. A healthy biological terrain better equips cells to resist effects of damaging organisms like bacteria, viruses, yeast and fungi.

A BTA helps with understanding biochemical factors in your body and can ultimately aid with digestive issues, weight loss issues, allergies, effectiveness of supplements and your pH balance.

How BTA Works:

You will need to have a 12-hour fast and give first urine and saliva specimens to Dunn Wellness Center for analysis. Results are available in 3-5 days.

Master Herbalist Eileen Kampfe will analyze results and design a custom wellness program for the individual. Depending on results and program, additional follow-up testing, analysis and revision of program may be required after 3-6 months.
