Arthritis, Osteoarthritis, and Glucosamine Sulfate

Today's treatment of arthritis (joint inflammation) includes support with Glucosamine Sulfate. Recent studies have found that Glucosamine Sulfate not only relieves arthritis pain, but also halts the progression of the disease in affected joints for some people.

Arthritis results from the cartilage wear and erosion caused by joint overload and dysfunction, sports, aerobics, exercise, work, and the usual activities of daily living. As we age, the wear and tear accumulates, triggering joint inflammation which stimulates pain in the joint nerve endings.

Glucosamine Sulfate counteracts arthritis by enhancing the production of natural lubrication within the joints, reducing friction and inflammation, and slowing down the degeneration of good cartilage. Glucosamine Sulfate is also an ingredient in cartilage repair, restoring strength and resilience to the supporting cartilage.

The Dunn Wellness Center offers treatment for arthritis and osteoarthritis with a total-wellness approach that includes Glucosamine Sulfate, Vitamin C, specific minerals, amino acids, and essential fatty acids. Other ways of supporting your return to health include:

• regular intake (8-10 glasses daily) of quality water

• a daily stretching program for the lubrication of the joints
  and muscles

• an aerobic cycle of 30 minutes daily for insuring oxygen
  delivery to all cells

• 7 – 8 hours amounts of sleep on a regular basis

The repair process starts within days of beginning your nutritional support program, but will require 10-12 weeks to create long-lasting effects. The majority of our patients report noticeable pain relief within 1-2 weeks of this daily health-supporting protocol.
